Improvements to our online access facility

Check out the Online Services section for details!

We are hiring! Check out our vacancies section HERE

We know some patients have expressed concern about the future provision of services from Hopton and Stanton surgeries.

Firstly, every member of staff at both surgeries is committed to ensuring patient care remains the top priority and that GP services remain accessible for our patients.

The GP Partners are currently considering the many options for future planning and no decisions have been taken. As soon as we have more information we will let our patients and partners know.

Our Practice is committed to develop the delivery of better care to our patients utilising the Information Technology developed through and under the direction of NHS England. We currently use Summary Care Record, GP2GP Transfer and Patient Access Online for appointments, repeat medication requests and viewable summary care record. The Practice is committed to include detailed coded information as part of the Patient Access Online facility by 31st March 2016.

We have dedicated bookable appointments with the Practice Nurse and will create more once the current days are fully booked as the flu season continues. Call the Practice on 01359 253700 to arrange you appointment.

You are eligble for a free NHS flu vaccination if you meet any of the criteria below -

  • 65 years of age or older
  • Pregnant
  • If you are a carer
  • If you suffer from a chronic long-term condition e.g. Asthma, COPD, diabetes, chronic heart disease, neurological conditions, weakened immune system
  • Healthcare worker with direct patient contact
  • If you are living in a long-stay residential care home or other long-stay care facility

This year children aged 2, 3 or 4 years on 31st August 2015 are also eligible for a vaccine. This is administered by a nasal spray rather than injection. Dedicated clinics to vaccinate children in this age group will be available separately to the other flu clinics. Please do call the Practice to book.
